Abstract

This article highlights effective pedagogical technologies for developing 21st-century skills among primary school students in the process of mother tongue lessons. The study provides a scientific-theoretical and practical analysis of the role of the mother tongue subject in fostering key competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration, information management, and digital literacy. In addition, the paper substantiates the possibilities of enhancing students’ speech activity through the use of interactive methods, project-based learning, the STEAM approach, and cluster and graphic organizers. At the conclusion of the article, methodological recommendations are proposed for the application of modern technologies in organizing mother tongue lessons..
