This article examines issues concerning the reliability of psychodiagnostic methods, particularly testing techniques, used to identify an individual's professional aptitudes within the career guidance process. The author elucidates the scientific foundations of psychodiagnostic tests, their types, and the criteria for evaluating their reliability and validity indicators, as well as the limitations and future prospects of their application. The practical significance of the article lies in providing methodological recommendations for career counselors, psychologists, and human resources personnel on selecting diagnostic tools and correctly interpreting results.
