Abstract

Goal 81 of the Action Strategy on the Five Priority Directions for the Development of Our Country in 2017–2021 is titled “Expanding Forest Areas”. This goal outlines several key tasks, such as expanding forested areas in the regions of the Republic, ensuring the efficient use of forest fund lands, establishing plantations in the foothill and intermountain areas of the forest fund, increasing vegetation in desert regions, creating protective forests in various territories, and establishing shelterbelts to protect irrigated lands from erosion and to prevent sand accumulation on reclamation facilities.
