Abstract

This article examines the linguopoetic features of Alisher Navoi’s  Hayrat ul-Abror , the first poem of the  Khamsa . Situated within the intellectual landscape of the Timurid Renaissance, the poem demonstrates a highly refined use of multilingual lexicon—Turkic, Persian, and Arabic—and a symbolically rich system rooted in Sufi metaphysics. Through a combined methodology of lexical, semantic, symbolic, and contextual analysis, this study shows how Navoi transforms language into an instrument of ethical reflection and spiritual philosophy. Particular attention is given to the poem’s metaphorical networks, recurring symbolic motifs (light, journey, garden, mirror, and wine), and its didactic orientation. The article integrates theoretical perspectives from Bakhtin’s dialogism, Jakobson’s poetic function, Saussurean structuralism, and Vinogradov’s theory of poetic speech to deepen the analysis. Findings reveal that Navoi constructs a unified, multilayered poetic universe where linguistic structure, spiritual worldview, and aesthetic form are inseparable.
