Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical potential of using folklore in the educational process of primary school students. The study analyzes different genres of folklore used in teaching and the methodological approaches to their application in the classroom. Folklore plays an important role in developing students’ speech, thinking, creativity, and moral values. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating folklore materials into the curriculum of primary education as an effective tool for cultural and moral development.
