Abstract

This article investigates the psychological dimensions of effective interviewing, highlighting the importance of establishing rapport, employing strategic questioning techniques, and managing potential resistance to elicit truthful responses. Beyond the simple exchange of questions and answers, successful interviewing relies on understanding the nuanced dynamics of human interaction. The study examines how trust-building through active listening, empathy, and mirroring creates an environment conducive to open communication. Additionally, the article explores the roles of open-ended questions, strategic framing, and nonverbal cues in obtaining detailed and accurate information. Based on the fundamental views of V.V. Voroshilov and S.N. Ilchenko, the research emphasizes that interviewing is a sophisticated psychological tool necessary for journalism, research, and human resources..
