Speaking is one of the most important skills in language learning because it enables learners to communicate ideas, express opinions, and interact effectively in real-life situations. This article explores the significant role of speaking activities in language learning, their impact on learners’ fluency and confidence, common challenges in developing speaking skills, and effective methods teachers can use in the classroom. The study highlights that well-designed speaking activities not only improve learners’ communicative competence but also increase motivation and active participation. Promoting speaking in the classroom creates an interactive learning environment that supports successful language acquisition
