Abstract

Stress is the body’s adaptive response to external and internal factors, and it exerts a profound biological influence on human brain function. This article discusses the concept of stress, its physiological and hormonal mechanisms, its effects on brain structures, and the differences between short-term and long-term stress. In addition, the impact of stress on cognitive processes, memory, emotional state, and behavior is analyzed based on scientific sources. The biological importance of managing and reducing stress is also addressed.
