The thesis presents the British author Jojo Moyes' literary contribution to contemporary English literature, particularly the author's thematic innovations, narrative techniques, and cultural impact. It is shown through the analysis that Moyes has considerably opened up the limits of popular romance fiction with the use of controversial bioethical issues, psychologically complex characters, and taking social inequalities of the present day as a topic. The results imply that Moyes is an author with a rare and distinctive position in modern English literature, where she unites commercial fiction and literary quality, while at the same time contributing to the cultural discourses of great importance such as those about disability, autonomy, and women's empowerment
