Abstract

This thesis provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the role, essence, and pedagogical significance of the general piano discipline within the music education system. It is substantiated that the piano, as a universal tool in music education, plays an important role not only in developing performing skills but also in developing students' hearing, musical thinking, sense of rhythm, and creative approach.
