In this scientific study, the determination of residual insecticidal substances in the composition of fruits grown in plum orchards was carried out, and the degree of preservation of insecticides, such as organophosphorus, pyrethroids, avermectins, emamectins, and neonicotinoids, used against pests, was assessed. Analyses based on gas-liquid chromatography (GLC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods showed that insecticide residues were mainly not detected in the fruit, and chlorpyriphos was observed in quantities not exceeding the established normative limits. The detection of residual substances indicates the importance of rational selection of insecticides and the protection of human health.
