Abstract

This paper explores the transformation of self-awareness in the context of the digital society. The concept of self, once understood through classical philosophy as an inner unity and reflection, now faces fragmentation, multiplicity, and simulation in the digital world. Using modern philosophical methodologies—phenomenology, existentialism, hermeneutics, and digital sociology—this study investigates how the digital environment influences personal identity, consciousness, and moral orientation. The works of Descartes, Heidegger, Foucault, Castells, Turkle, and Han are analyzed to understand how human self-awareness evolves under the influence of technological mediation and virtual communication..
