Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and moral responsibility in medical practice from a philosophical perspective. The application of AI in diagnostics, surgery, drug development, and patient data management raises critical questions about ethical decision-making, human accountability, and professional responsibility. Using contemporary philosophical methodologies—including axiology, bioethics, phenomenology, and transhumanism—this study explores how AI can enhance or threaten humanistic values in medicine. Works of Heidegger, Kant, Foucault, Turkle, Floridi, Bostrom, and European Commission guidelines are analyzed to understand the philosophical, ethical, and practical implications of AI integration in healthcare.
