This article examines the historical development of agriculture in the Uzbek khanates from the 16th to the 19th centuries, analyzing the transformation of agricultural practices, irrigation systems, and land management institutions during this significant period of Central Asian history. The research reveals that despite political fragmentation and periodic conflicts, the Uzbek khanates maintained sophisticated agricultural systems that sustained dense urban populations and facilitated extensive trade networks across Central Asia.
