INTRODUCTION OF MUSIC AND CULTURAL COMPETITIONS IN INDEPENDENT UZBEKISTAN: GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

this article presents a retrospective study of music and cultural competitions and festivals organized during the period of independence of Uzbekistan. The first information about the competitions and festivals held from 1995 to the present day, such as “Uzbekistan - My Homeland”, “Voice of the Future”, “Nihol”, “Yagonasan, Muqaddas Vatan!”, “Buyuk Ipak Yoʻli”, “Sharq Taronalari”, “International Conference of Maqom Art”, “International Bakhshi Festival” and other important competitions and festivals, is presented. The article also shows the role of these events in increasing the international prestige of our country, preserving and developing national culture, and supporting young talents
