COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF FACTORS LEADING TO ACADEMIC DISHONESTY IN STUDENTS

This thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of the factors influencing students’ academic dishonesty (plagiarism and violations of academic integrity). Psychological and pedagogical factors such as motivation, self-confidence, stress and emotional state, social environment, and interactions with teachers and peers are identified as key contributors to academic dishonesty. Furthermore, psychological approaches aimed at fostering independent thinking, responsibility, and academic integrity, including motivational, metacognitive, humanistic, and behavioral approaches, are analyzed. The results of the study demonstrate the scientific effectiveness of psychological prevention, training programs, and stress-reduction strategies.
