PEDAGOGICAL METHODS FOR DEVELOPING SPEECH IN CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH ALALIA

This article analyzes the pedagogical methods used in the process of developing speech in children diagnosed with alalia. Alalia is characterized by partial or complete underdevelopment of the child’s speech system as a result of dysfunction within the central nervous system. The study highlights the importance of early diagnosis, a comprehensive (medical, psychological, and pedagogical) approach, and individualized rehabilitation programs in forming speech in such children. The main directions of speech therapy sessions in this context include developing phonematic hearing, activating the articulatory apparatus, enriching lexical and grammatical structures, and using play-based multisensory methods. The authors emphasize that active parental involvement and continuous speech stimulation at home are crucial factors for the child’s social and communicative development.
