THE ROLE OF TESTOLOGICAL ACTIVITY IN ASSESSING STUDENTS' KNOWLEDGE

The research examines the mechanisms of developing, standardizing, and conducting psychometric analysis of test materials based on the Classical Test Theory and the contemporary Item Response Theory. Furthermore, the significance of testological activity in the diagnosis of the educational process and in managing the quality of education is substantiated, resulting from its integration with digital technologies such as Computerized Adaptive Testing . The article provides practical recommendations aimed at the scientific and methodological improvement of the assessment system in educational institutions.
