This article examines the effectiveness of developing students’ professional competencies in the process of medical education. The modern healthcare system requires the training of highly qualified and competent specialists. The development of professional competencies involves the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The article highlights key components of professional competence, including clinical thinking, communication skills, the use of information and communication technologies, and adherence to ethical standards. In addition, it discusses methods to improve the efficiency of medical education through the application of innovative pedagogical technologies, interactive methods, simulations, and practical training sessions..
