Abstract

This article analyzes methodological issues of assessing the level of well-being of the population based on an integrated approach. In particular, the essence of the concept of well-being, its measurement criteria, and the principles of forming a system of indicators are considered. The study analyzes factors such as income, consumption, employment, health care, education, housing conditions, and social protection as key indicators. It also highlights international experience in assessing well-being, including the Human Development Index developed by the United Nations and the specific aspects of the World Bank methodologies. The article substantiates the possibilities of more accurate assessment of the level of well-being by combining statistical and sociological methods and integrating subjective and objective indicators. The results of the study are of significant scientific and practical importance in improving socio-economic policies aimed at improving the living standards of the population.
