LITERARY CRITICISM OF GAFUR GULOM’S CREATIVE ACTIVITY

The article is dedicated to the literary criticism of Gafur Gulom’s creative activity which is examined through an analytical and historical perspective. The evolution of critical approaches to his works is traced, and major interpretations offered by Uzbek and foreign scholars are reviewed. More attention is given to the ways in which Gafur Gulom’s poetic and prose legacy has been remarked within different literary periods, including post-independence period. His originality, diversity, and sociality are evaluated as central characteristics that have been widely discussed among scholars. Various methodologies such as biographical, comparative, and textual analysis are used to show how his style has been explored by critics. Through this study, the continuing significance of Gafur Gulom’s contribution to modern Uzbek literature is emphasized, and the need for further comprehensive research is underscored.
