Abstract

Foreign trade plays a crucial role in shaping national economic performance and fostering regional and global integration processes. This article provides a comprehensive theoretical and analytical examination of the impact of foreign trade on a country’s economy and its integration into the global economic system. Using the IMRAD structure, the study synthesizes classical, modern, and institutional economic theories to explain how foreign trade influences economic growth, structural transformation, productivity, and integration dynamics. Special attention is paid to both static and dynamic effects of trade, as well as the interaction between trade openness and economic integration. The article is designed for master’s degree students and offers a high-level scientific foundation for further empirical research and policy analysis.
