This article investigates the influence of English music on human concentration, with a particular focus on students and working individuals who frequently listen to music while performing mental tasks. It explores how various types of English songs—ranging from calm instrumentals to upbeat pop tracks—affect the brain’s ability to focus, memorize, and process information. The findings suggest that while soft, lyrical, and instrumental English music can promote relaxation and improve concentration, loud and fast-paced genres may distract attention and reduce performance. The paper concludes that the impact of English music largely depends on personal preferences, task types, and the listener’s emotional state.
