Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has significantly influenced the development of modern scientific and technical vocabulary. This article examines the challenges associated with the lexicographic representation of AI terminology and the formation of specialized terminological resources. The study focuses on the processes of collecting, classifying, translating, and standardizing AI-related lexical units. Particular attention is paid to issues such as the rapid emergence of new terms, terminological variation, synonymy, polysemy, translation difficulties, and the dominance of English-based terminology. The research highlights the importance of creating systematic, updated, and multilingual AI dictionaries that can effectively reflect the dynamic nature of this interdisciplinary field. The findings contribute to the development of terminology studies, computational linguistics, and modern lexicography.
