Abstract
Despite advances in pediatric cardiac surgery, early postoperative complications remain a major determinant of adverse clinical outcomes in children with congenital heart disease. Recent evidence suggests that multimarker models combining immunological and laboratory parameters provide more accurate risk prediction than individual biomarkers, facilitating early postoperative risk stratification and personalized patient management [1–4]..
