INSTITUTIONAL FOUNDATIONS AND CHALLENGES OF DEVELOPING YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY

Abstract

This article provides a systematic analysis of issues related to the development of youth entrepreneurship and innovative activity in the context of the modern economy. It examines youth entrepreneurship as an important factor in economic growth, job creation, and social stability under conditions of a rapidly expanding digital economy, knowledge-based economy, and intensifying global competition. The study highlights the economic, social, innovative, and transformational functions of youth entrepreneurship and analyzes institutional mechanisms aimed at its development in Uzbekistan, including preferential lending, grant and subsidy systems, as well as the activities of business incubators and technoparks. In addition, the article identifies key constraints hindering the development of youth entrepreneurship, such as limited access to financial resources, lack of experience, and market risks.
