This thesis examines the effectiveness of teaching mathematics to students of grades 3–4 based on real-life examples, taking into account their age and psychological characteristics. The use of simple everyday situations to form mathematical concepts is scientifically and methodologically justified as a means of increasing students’ interest in the subject and creating a strong foundation of knowledge.
