Dehydration remains one of the most common and clinically significant conditions in modern medicine, affecting a wide range of age groups and pathological states. According to epidemiological studies, the prevalence of dehydration among hospitalized and outpatient populations reaches 20–30%, and in high-risk groups may increase to 40–60% [Smith et al., 2021].
